"I met Doug when he was the in-home caregiver for my folks.  He was so good with them – patient, calm and caring.  Eventually in-home care was not enough and my parents moved to an Alzheimer’s community.  Doug sent me a wonderful note that he enjoyed taking care of my parents – and mentioned that he also was in real estate, in case we decided to sell their home.  After months of letting their home sit vacant – and accepting the fact that they would never be able to live in it again, I felt it was time to sell.  Being somewhat sentimental, I knew Doug would be the right person to sell their home.  It was their home for over 30 years and I did not want an agent that would just slap it on the market and treat it like just another property.  I wanted the house to get a good, new family.
